Setting Notes and Reminders

Everyday you are bombarded with information. Some of it is useful. Some is critically important. You need a way to insure that your entire organization benefits from your accumulated knowledge. MasterQ has several systems to keep you on your toes.

This page is not meant to be a replacement for the MasterQ manual, rather it is an over view of the many options available. It is intended to give you an idea of how flexible this system is.

Notes may be attached to anything in MasterQ

You can set up any number of reminders and attach them to quotes, customers, people, even quotes. These notes may be private or public and can include links to documents containing addtitional information.

Must-View Notes Appear Automatically

Notes designated as "must view" will appear automatically anytime that item is referenced. Attach a note like this one to a customer and it will pop up anytime you start creating a quote. Attach a must view note to an item and the note will appear when anyone starts to include the item in a quote. You can even attach a must view note to a person and have that note pop up only when a quote is being prepared for them.

Tell Me Rules

Tell Me Rules allow you to specify special conditions that you wish to know about. For example, if you want to know anytime a particular item number is quoted to any customer, or if you want to know if a particular customer is quoted anything, Tell Me Rules are right for you. Just tick off the actions you wish to monitor and MasterQ will send you an email when they occur. You do not even need to be running the program at the time.
